AMOR MONDIAL elevates the spoken word in the Summer 2015 collection.
Monica Vos used her own recording of the words “I love you” in Dutch
and Spanish to envision a mosaic mandala rippling outward from the centre
in a wave of visual sound.

This wearable declaration of love is carried by five new styles with soft cotton
dresses, silk kaftans, and subtle woven blouses. It is constructed from a mix of
vibrant colors and natural hues. Kissed by the sun, the colors fade from dark to light.
The long, silk dress Amor expresses the sound print and is the cornerstone of the
collection. Bikinis Sol and Nanook contain details of the print and pair
well with the kaftans and dresses.

Collection PANGAEA

This collection of silk dresses, tops, kaftans and cotton bikinis is inspired by a story
of separation. Pangaea is a tale of transformation, movement and continuity. It began
many million years ago, when the world held a singular, unified continent called
Pangea (derived from the Greek pangaea, meaning “all the Earth”). This landmass
slowly fractured and drifted apart into our current global landscape through
deep shifts beneath the Earth’s surface. The setting is seven religious symbols,
representing the societal shifts that further separate us from each other. The element
of hope to balance this global division is the pattern of koi. This  auspicious fish represents
the courage, perseverance and fortune needed to reconcile our fragmented world.
